An etching after Antoine Watteau's painting Les Charmes de la Vie, c. 1718-19, in the Wallace Collection, London. Several figures are arranged on paving in the open air, a man tuning a theorbos, and young boy with a dog, and a young Black boy crouched with a dish of wine.
The print by Pierre Aveline was issued in the Mercure de France, August 1730. -
