A hand-coloured print featuring six designs illustrating a man's life prior to and during his marriage. The wife is shown to be unfaithful, and violent and who finally elopes from a window of their house during the night leaving the injured husband to exclaim: 'Who eloped one night by stealth and scarcely left enough of pels to buy a rope to hang myself.'
