A hand-coloured print of Joanna Southcott, the religious prophet, brandishing a birch as she sends a group of Bishops fleeing. She has caught the leg of one who turns around to face her in horror. She wears a medallion engraved 'A fac similie of Joanna' with an I and C between two stars together with a cape marked 'Elija's mantle' and 'Mohair'. She is joined by Roger Towzer who beats the Bishops with a stick. Southcott's sealed box of prophecies stands on the left emblazoned with Joanna Southcott's principles whilst a 'Third book of Wonders' lies discarded and open on the ground. Inscribed in the plate: 341 / Pubd Septr 20th 1814 by T Tegg No 111 Cheapside
