An uncoloured print of Dr Andrew Bell, an advocate for education with a religious disposition, who stands facing a fire breathing dragon who stands on its hind legs in confronting Bell. Behind the dragon stands 'Lancaster's School' a ramshackle ruin; a representation of the non-sectarian schooling advocated by Joseph Lancaster. On a precipice behind Bell, stands Dr Bell's grand building a shining example of Church and State. MS date of 9 December 1811
