A hand-coloured print featuring four characters and their respective mottos. In the first stands the King - 'I reign over all'; in the second a Bishop - 'I pray for all'; the third a soldier - 'I fight for all'; and finally Farmer John Bull - 'But I pay for all'. A satire on the hierarchies of the realm. Inscribed in the plate: No 13 / Price one shilling coloured / Pubd Septr 29th 1810 by Thos Tegg No 111 Cheapside
