A hand-coloured print of a dance inside a well appointed room with chandeliers and large mirrors. A tall, thin man playing the fiddle provides the music for a dance performed by children who are watched by adults, possibly parents and grand-parents. Many of the women hold fans and conversation is enjoyed between the men and women. Inscribed in the plate: Pubd June 26 1790 by T Rowlandson No 50 Poland Street Pantheon
