A hand-coloured satirical print of the interior of a ship. A young woman is embraced by one seaman whilst two other men look on, smoking. A bowl of 'grog' (or spirits diluted with water) is passed from one sailor to the woman. On the right, a sailor is seated by a cannon reading a leaflet entitled 'Sweet Poll of Plymouth'. Two young boys, one of them black, read together from a copy of 'Byron's Voyage' in the background. Companion to RCIN 810311-3.
