An uncoloured print from the Picturesque Beauties of Boswell series. James Boswell and Margaret, his wife entertain Dr Johnson. They all sit around a square table drinking tea. Dr Johnson uses sugar tongs to add sugar to his tea. Mrs Boswell clasps her hands to her breast in admiration of their guest whilst her husband waxes lyrical.
