Description

An etched view of the south side of Canterbury Cathedral, showing a wall with a gateway on the right and a ghost spire visible behind the arcaded tower on the left of transept. In the top right corner is a coat of arms and dedication to John Warner. This print is the 1st state of 4. This view is from Sir William Dugdale’s 'Monasticon Anglicanum', a work on English ecclesiastical history first published in 1655.
