A crown frame of a double circlet of gold with silver jewel settings, no longer mounted with stones. The arches in the form of oak leaves, the monde missing, with a red velvet cap and ermine band.
Provenance
Made for the coronation of Queen Victoria at Westminster Abbey, 28 June 1838. The stones were hired for the occasion and then returned to the Jewel House.
Sent on loan to the Museum of London in 1958 and later returned. -
