A lead and antimony urn with a fixed cover with a fruit and foliage finial, the cover cast with leaves in high relief; the body cast with figures representing Autumn, the lower body gadrooned, on a circular spreading base decorated with oak leaves, the whole raised on a stone socle and marble plinth.

The vase bodies cast by Filips van der Mij in Leiden. The feet and lids were modelled by Giovanni Battista Lurago.

The vase is one in a set of four representing the seasons.
