An etching of the gardens at Hampton Court Palace. Lettered below in French and English: The Diagonal Walk, Fountain and Canal in the Gadren of Hampton Court and Vue de l'allée Diagonal de la Fontaine et du Canal, dans le Jardin d'Hampton Court. With the publication line: Sold by Robert Sayer at the Golden Buck in Fleet Street, John Bowles, no. 13 in Cornhill and Carington Bowles, no. 69 in St Paul's Church Yard. One of a set of views of Hampton Court after Anthony Highmore, first published c.1744. The set was reissued in about 1766.
