A print of the grand staircase at Carlton House. On the left two men by the arm, one on the balcony and another one climbing the stairs below. Stained glass window ceiling and balcony with statues as caryatids and Atlas.
Richard Harraden, publisher and printmaker, was based in Little Newport Street around 1798.
Lettered below the image on the lower left corner: Drawn by J.T. Perrache; on the lower right corner: Publi.d by R.Harraden Little Newport Street London.
Lettered below the title: Executed by the Late John Theodore Perrache/ The Secret of that Art (revived by Mr Perrache) now in the possession of his Soninlaw John Lawrence,/ of Southampton by whom the Art is now continued. -
