Pair of trousers; (?) hand-woven narrow strip cotton and machine woven cotton machine sewn together along overlapping edges to create seams. Plain weave; hand-woven cotton; natural coloured, dyed maroon and green cotton warps; natural cotton coloured wefts. Plain weave; machine woven cotton; natural cotton coloured warps and wefts. The majority of the pair of trousers consist of alternating vertical stripes in natural cotton, green and maroon, the crotch is decorated in the same pattern but the stripes run horizontally. The waist band of the trousers is made from a width of machine woven natural coloured cotton and the legs of the trousers are lined with the same material.
