Description

A drum with stretched hide over a barrel-shaped body with 'lug' handles. The wooden body is covered with a polychrome woven fabric (now faded), nailed into place.

Provenance

Possibly presented to the Prince of Wales (later King Edward VIII) during his visit to Kenya in 1928
