Description

A Persian wool carpet. Dark blue centre decorated with dense all-over herati design of flowerheads, saz leaves and garlands. Nine guard borders, several with meandering vines / cloudbands. Main border with stylised flowers, foliage, arabesques and 'turtle palmettes'.
