A Light Cavalry sword; the stirrup hilt with drop quillon of the 1796 pattern for British Light Cavalry. Pistol grip covered with ribbed leather. Curved, back-edged steel blade with wide central fuller.

Formerly in a wall trophy at St James's Palace. Not identifiable in any earlier inventory.
