A photographic reproduction after a portrait painting of George VI (RCIN 409149); full-length, standing with his body slightly to the left, and his head to the front. He wears the uniform of Colonel in Chief of the 11th Hussars, with red jodhpurs, black jacket and black cloak with red lining. His left hand is resting on his sword, and in his right hand he holds his hat on his right knee. In the background is a landscape under a stormy sky. The print is signed, lower right.
