    Flintlock pistol; octagonal/round steel barrel partly chased with foliate scrolls, with repoussé silver band; hardwood stock applied throughout with tear-shaped pieces of coral with engraved silver surrounds; silver mounts chased with foliate scrolls; pommel with spur. With ramrod.

    One from a number of guns and pistols given by the Dey of Algiers to George IV when Prince Regent, in 1811 and 1819
