A wheellock rifle with an octagonal steel barrel, walnut stock with a cheekrest, inlaid with stag's horn, engraved with flowers, fruit, and birds, and hounds chasing the stag (on the patchbox). The butt inlaid with mother-of-pearl coat of arms; steel lock engraved with flowers, birds, a monster's head and a ribboned wreath, with an indented trigger guard.

Presented to the Prince Regent by R.Cosway RA, who bought it from a Count de Navenville.
