Mezzotint of Louis XVI, King of France. Half length with tied wig, frilled tie, embroidered jacket, sash, Order of the Golden Fleece, and with a mantle embroidered with the Star of the Order of the Holy Spirit. Within an oval border with coat of arms and French inscription below, including publisher's address, 'AParis ches Brookshaw et Haines rue de Tournon vis-à-vis l'Hotel de Nivernois chez le Bourrelier.'
