Engraving of Marie Leszczyńska, Queen of France. Whole length with hair in ringlets with tiara, pearl earrings, lace tucker, gown, jewelled bodice, and ermine mantle. The Queen is pictured standing, with left hand resting on a crown to the right, and with columns and drapery behind. With coat of arms and French inscription below, including publisher's address 'Se vend a Paris Chez de N. Larmessin graveur du Roy, rue des Noyers a la 7e porte cochere a main droite en entrant par la rue St Jacques.' First state, this portrait was later re-engraved to represent Marie Antoinette, see RCIN 617422.
