Description

Engraving of Louis XIII, King of France. Whole length equestrian figure as a youth, with short hair, closed ruff, armour, and sash, with the Order of the Holy Spirit. The Prince is pictured on horseback, holding the reins in left hand and a baton in right, with troops on a battlefield behind and with putti holding a wreath above.

Another impression of this print was published as a broadside accompanied by text.
