Engraving of Louis II de Bourbon, Prince of Condé. Whole length with curled hair, lace collar, sash, and armour. The Prince is pictured holding a baton in right hand, standing beside a helmet on a pedestal with a view of a landscape in the background. With French inscription below. Plate from Charles Gavard's Galeries historiques de Versailles published in the 1830s and 1840s. The plate is signed 'Diagraphe et Pantographe Gavard', indicating that the plate was created using an invention devised by Gavard which allowed him to create accurate copies of images in various scaled-down sizes.
