An etching of Holy Roman Emperor Joseph I. A bust length portrait in profile, facing left, wearing a laurel crown, mantle, armour and the badge of the Order of the Golden Fleece. A Latin inscription and title below the portrait reads 'IOSEPHUS.' An inscription in the upper right of the plate lists the object as being 'No. 205'. The print was originally part of Anton Ferdinand von Geissau's Geschichte der römischen Kaiser: mit ihren Bildnissen (1804-1807), which included a series of etched portraits of Roman Emperors by the printmaker Mark Quirin.
