A mezzotint of Holy Roman Emperor Joseph I as a child. A short half length portrait inclined left with his head turned slightly to the right. He wears a crown, brocade cloak and the badge of the Order of the Golden Fleece. A Latin inscription sits above the portrait, 'Reget Patrys Virtutibus Orbem', while a Dutch verse sits below. Another impression can be found in Coxe's Marlborough I, 140.
