Description

An etching of Margaret Theresa of Spain, first wife of Holy Roman Emperor Leopold I. A half length portrait inclined left, wearing pins in her hair, earrings and an off-the-shoulder dress. The portrait sits within an oval frame, beneath which is the Latin inscription 'MARGARETA THERESIA AUGUSTA.' Draped fabric decorates the upper right corner of the print. The plate has been trimmed.
