An etching with engraving of Eleonora Gonzaga, wife of Holy Roman Emperor Ferdinand III. A short half length portrait inclined left, wearing an elaborate hair pin, earrings, necklace, pearl-trimmed mantle and a large double-headed eagle pendant. The portrait sits within an oval frame bearing the Latin inscription 'SEREN PRINCEPS AC DOMINA DN: ELEONORA GERMAN...NGARIAE ET BOEMIAE REGINA S.C.M. FERDINANDI III CONI UX.' Surrounding the frame are scrolls, swags of fruit, a crown, olive branches and two vignettes. The plate has been cut down.
