An etching with engraving of Anna Maria of Spain, wife of Holy Roman Emperor Ferdinand III. A head and shoulder length portrait facing left, wearing an elaborate hairpin, ruff and pendant. The portrait sits within an oval frame, beneath which is a Latin inscription beginning 'MARIA ROM. IMPERATRIX, GERM. HUNG...' Surrounding the image and text is a decorative border which has been printed separately. German text on the verso suggests the print was cut from a book.
