An engraving of Holy Roman Emperor Ferdinand III. A head and shoulder length portrait inclined right, wearing a lace collar, armour and the badge of the Order of the Golden Fleece. The portrait sits within an oval foliate frame, surrounded by putti, an eagle, orb, coat of arms, draped fabric and cornucopia. Beneath the image is a Latin inscription, 'FERDINANDVS III. ROMANORVM IMPERATOR, SEMPER AVGVSTVS.' The portrait is after a painting by Anselm van Hulle and was possibly included for an edition of 'Les Hommes Illustres'. The plate has been trimmed. The print is another impression of 613328.
