An engraving of Ferdinand II, Holy Roman Emperor. A full length equestrian portrait riding to the left, wearing a crown, ruff, ermine capelet, cape and boots. He holds the Imperial crown in his right hand and the reins of his horse in his left hand. The background landscape features a river and city. At the bottom of the plate is the Latin inscription 'FERDINAND D.G. HUNGARIAE ET BOHEMIAE REX ARCHIDUX AUSTRIAE ECT: S.R. IMP: PINCERNA', alongside a coat of arms emblazoned with a rampant lion. The plate has been trimmed.
