An engraving of Rudolf II, Holy Roman Emperor. A half length portrait inclined right, wearing a laurel crown, ruff and armour. In his right hand he holds a baton, while his left hand rests on the hilt of his sword. On the ledge behind him sits a plumed helmet. At the bottom of the plate is a Latin inscription beginning 'AVGVSTISSIMO ET GLORIOSISSIMO ROM: IMPERATORI...' The plate appears to be an earlier state of 613159, with the publisher's inscription 'Marco Sadeler Excudit'.  Another impression in Clarendon's History Vol.1,p.568.
