Henricus VII c.1804-1807
-
An etching of Henry VII, Holy Roman Emperor. A bust length portrait in profile facing left, wearing a crown and suit of armour. A Latin inscription and title below the portrait reads 'HENRICUS VII.' An inscription in the upper right of the plate lists the object as being 'No. 180'. The print was originally part of Anton Ferdinand von Geissau's Geschichte der römischen Kaiser: mit ihren Bildnissen (1804-1807), which included a series of etched portraits of Roman Emperors by the printmaker Mark Quirin.
