  • Small sword with steel hilt with triangular-section quillons. Classical vase-shaped pommel with studded chaplet. Diamond-faceted tang button. Barrel-shaped steel grip, plain straight square-sectioned steel blade with barbs mounted on ridges. Steel scabbard.

    Presented by Lord Fife. Note in old inventory 'The Honourable Robert Curzon remembers the barbed rapier as being found at the bed-head of Don Manuel de Godoy, Prince of Peace, 1813
