  • Etching of two seals, showing both obverse and reverse. Each seal features a portrait of the Holy Roman Emperors Conrad II and Henry II. The first seal depicts Conrad in a bust-length portrait facing right, wearing a crown, with a full-length portrait of Henry holding a spear and shield on the obverse. The Latin inscriptions surrounding the obverse and reverse are: 'CHVONRADVS. DI. GR. ROMANOR. IMP. AVG.' , 'HEINRICVS SPES IMPER II ROMANOR'. The second seal features both Conrad and Henry in full-length, wearing crowns, mantles and carrying orbs and sceptres. The inscription 'HEINRICVS REX' divides them. The reverse of the seal depicts a church. The Latin inscriptions surrounding the obverse and reverse of the second seal are: 'CHVONRADVS. DI. GRA. ROMANOR. IMP. AVG.' and 'ROMA CAPVTMVNDI.
