Engraving of Maria Elisabeth of Schleswig-Holstein-Gottorp, Landgravine of Hesse-Darmstadt. Whole length with hair in ringlets, pearl earrings and necklace, embroidered gown, and jewelled bodice. The Landgravine is pictured standing with right hand resting on a table, with drapery behind. With Latin inscription on cartouche below. A plate from Vita post vitam : Leichenbegängniss Georg II.
