Master: Helmet Item: Pikeman's pot probably 1637/8

Pikeman's pot formed in two pieces with a hemispherical crown rising to a low medial comb and a broad integral brim turned down at each side, the latter formed at its edges with plain inward turns accompanied by a recessed border occupied by round-headed lining-rivets, some with brass caps, the crown encircled at its base by similar rivets, and decorated above them and to either side of the comb with pairs of incised lines.
