This print is from a series of 58 portraits of the rulers of Saxony, Meissen, and Thuringia dating from 70 BC to the early eighteenth century, all taken from Sigmund von Birken and Joachim Friedrich Feller's Königlich-Polnischer, Chur- und Fürstlich-Sächsischer Helden-Saal; Oder Kurtze, jedoch hinlängliche Beschreibung der Ankunfft, Aufnahme, Fortpflantzung und vornehmsten Geschichten Dieses Durchlauchtigsten Hauses  (1718).
