Jack Hildred worked for Midland Bank in Selby and regularly provided illustrations for the Bank's staff journal. Following the death of King George V, Hildred was asked to produce an drawing to accompany an commemorative article. This lithographic reproducing the illustration was gifted to King Edward VIII by Jack Hildred. -
