-
Stipple with etching of Queen Victoria as princess. Three quarter length with curled hair, necklace, loose gown fastened at the shoulder, and ermine mantle. Standing with right arm leaning on a statue of a lion's head, with columns and drapery in the background and with a view of Windsor Castle in the distance. With English inscription below, cut down. This portrait is reminiscent of Richard Cosway's portrait of Princess Charlotte of Wales, where the Princess dressed in the same clothes, also rests her arm on a statue of a lion, see a copy RCIN 421474. Not in O'Donoghue
