Mezzotint of Frederica, Duchess of York as Duchess. Whole length with curled hair, low gown, embroidered sash, and full skirt. Standing with left hand on hip and right resting beside a large vase. Attended by three female figures to the right, one of which holds the Duchess' train. To the left sits a small dog, while a view of columns, drapery and a landscape can be seen in the background. With English inscription below, including publisher's address, 'LONDON, Publish'd Decr. 1, 1795, by W. DICKINSON.' For another impression with hand-colouring see RCIN 604775.
