Mezzotint of Queen Caroline as queen. Bust length with hair in ringlets with jewels, earrings, low bodice edged in ermine and with jewelled claps on front and with ropes of pearls on sleeves. With Latin inscription below, including publisher's address, 'Done from the Original Painting in the Possession of his Grace the Duke of Richmond- Sold by J,, Faber at the Golden head in Bloomsbury Square.'First state before alteration to publisher's address, for second state see RCIN 603937. After a portrait by John Vanderbank which remains at Goodwood House, the seat of the Duke of Richmond. Borders trimmed.
