Description

Engraving of Queen Caroline as queen. Almost half length with hair in ringlets, low bodice edged in ermine and with jewelled claps on front and with mantle over left shoulder. With Crown above and English inscription below. Includes publisher's address, 'London, Sold by G. Vertue at his house in Brownlow Street. Drury Lane.' Second state with inscription, dates and insignia altered, for first state see RCIN 602925. Borders trimmed.
