Engraving of Henrietta Maria and her sons, Charles II and James II. Whole length figure of the Queen, with curled hair with pearls, pearl earrings and necklace, lace collar, and gown. Henrietta Maria, seated, is depicted holding the infant James II, with lace cap and gown, to her left the figure of Charles II, with short hair, lace cap, and gown. Three small dogs on the floor to the right, and a crown and vase of flowers on a table to the left. Drapery and columns behind and with a view of London in the background. Proof before lettering.
