Mezzotint of Charles I as king. Three quarter length with long hair, beard, brimmed hat with jewelled band, lace collar, doublet, order on a ribbon around neck, and mantle with Garter Star over left shoulder. Seated in a large chair with left hand on hip and right holding a sheet of paper. With English inscription below. Cut down. Second state after alterations to inscription. For third state see RCIN 601737 and for fourth state see RCIN 602733. Cut down.
