Mezzotint of Charles I as king. Three quarter length with long hair, beard, brimmed hat with jewelled band, lace collar, doublet, order on a ribbon around neck, and mantle with Garter Star over left shoulder. Seated in a large chair with left hand on hip and right holding a sheet of paper. With English inscription below, including publisher's addresses, 'Henry Overton at the white Horse without Newgate', and 'Sold by I. Simon in King Street Covent Garden'. Borders trimmed. Fourth state after alterations to figure, background and inscription. For earlier second and third states see RCIN 601736 and RCIN 601737.
