Engraving of James I, Charles I, Charles II, James II, Mary II, Anne, and William, Duke of Gloucester. Seven bust length portraits of the Stuart monarchs of Britain, from James I to Prince William. Each within an oval border with English inscription on a scroll below. With verses by Pope below, 'In their time rich industry sat smiling on the plain'. Frontispiece from Prints. King Charles I. and the Heads of the Noble Earls, Lords, and others, who suffered for their Loyalty in the Rebellion and Civil-Wars of England, published in 1735 and 1746.
