Engraving of Richard II, King of England. Half length with crown, ermine mantle, and holding sceptre in right hand and orb in left. Within an oval border on a monument with a scene horsemen and archers below, possibly depicting the death of Wat Tyler, and with allegorical figures seated on either side. With English inscription, including publisher's address, 'Publish'd according to Act of Parliament by T. Cadell, Strand.' Plate from David Hume's History of England (1788).
