An etching with hand-colouring of Isabella, Queen of England. View of the effigy of Isabella, consort of King John, from the tomb at Fontevrault Abbey, Anjou. Whole length, with crown and robes and hands folded on body. With hand-coloured sample of decoration to the right. With English inscription, including publisher's address, 'London Published as the Act directs by Mrs. Bray, New Kent Road.' Plate from Charles Alfred Stothard's The Monumental Effigies of Great Britain, which he worked on from 1811 until his death in 1821. Another volume was published by his widow, Anna Eliza Bray, in 1832, from which this print originates.
