A Chinese porcelain plate painted in famille rose enamels. In the centre, a peafowl perched on a green rock, with sprays of peony and peach; in the well, a pink cash-diaper border, with four floral cartouches and blooms; round the rim, four sprays of peony and other flowers.
Made in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi province, for export to the West.
